Joint Replacement

Dr. Swienckowski is a board certified orthopedic surgeon whose sub-specialty is joint replacement procedures. Dr. Swienckowski’s twenty-six years of work with joint replacements is nationally recognized. He lectured and published on the topic extensively. Dr. Swienckowski is well known for his excellent success in restoring joint mobility not only immediately following surgery, but for years to come. For Dr. Swienckowski a successful surgical experience does not focus on the joint replacement alone but on the patient’s adjustment to the surgery and the positive changes the surgery can make possible.

Dr. Swienckowski is a graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at Botsford General Hospital and holds the rank of Professor at Michigan State Univsersity. Dr. Swienckowski developed the curriculum for Orthopedic Externs and is the Director of the Orthopedic Residency program at Botsford General Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.

Dr. Swienckowski is a past member of the board of trustees for Northville Township and he is affiliated with Botsford General Hospital and Health Match.
